Your permanent jewellery can be cut of with sharp scissors or pliers at the jump ring if you need to take it off, and can be re-welded back on at Made By Ash.

What Material Do We Use?

Our permanent jewellery is available in a variety of high-quality 925 Sterling Silver and 14K Gold Filled chains which are durable, hypoallergenic, easy care, and tarnish-resistant. Perfect for everyday wear! And yes, you can confidently wear it while exercising, showering, swimming, and throughout your daily activities.

How It Works

  • Pick Your Chain

    Choose from our range of 925 Sterling Silver and 14K Gold Filled chains.

  • Pick Your Location and Size

    Choose between an anklet, bracelet, or necklace. We will then size the chain and apply a temporary jump ring to ensure you're happy with the size.

  • Chain Is Welded

    We then carefully and skill-fully weld the chain together using a micro jump ring and a spot welder. We'll also do a quality check and polish.

How long does permanent jewellery last?

With proper care, these pieces retain their beauty and brilliance, becoming treasured keepsakes. They’re designed to be worn daily and stand up to the rigours of your everyday life. You can wear your permanent jewellery in water and use standard skincare products. To ensure longevity, avoid harsh chemicals like cleaning products and alcohol-based perfumes. Clean with a soft brush and warm soapy water after swimming in pools, the ocean, or sweating heavily.

How long will it take?

About 15 minutes which gives you enough time to choose your desired chain and size. The welding process itself takes less than a minute!

Does it hurt?

Not at all! There is no contact to the skin, just a tiny spark from our high-quality jewellery welder. We will also place a thick, leather patch under the welding site to protect your skin.

What if I have to remove my permanent jewellery?

If at any point you need to remove your permanent jewellery (eg. MRI, surgery, sport), it can be removed using scissors. Ensure to snip the jump ring so that the chain can be seamlessly re-welded.

Can I go through airport security?

Yes, your permanent jewellery is dainty and delicate enough that it will not set off the metal detectors at the airport.
